Monthly subscription billing is an automated payment process in which your monthly subscription fee is charged to your credit or debit card on file with JobFlo.

When is my card charged?

  • If your JobFlo Trial has already ended, your card will be charged as soon as you click the Upgrade button and complete the input screens. This then becomes your monthly anniversary date when your card will be charged in subsequent months. As an example: if you upgrade on January 19, your anniversary date and subsequent monthly charges will be on February 19, March 19, April 19, May 19, etc.
  • If your 15-day JobFlo Trial has not ended, we authorize your card immediately and give you access to all the features of the plan you just purchased - including the ability to post more jobs. We then wait until the 15 days are past to charge your card. As an example: if you sign up for a JobFlo Trial on January 4 and then upgrade to JobFlo Pro on January 12, we immediately authorize your card and enable the JobFlo Pro features including the ability to post up to 25 Active jobs. However, we don't charge your card until January 19. This (January 19) then becomes your monthly anniversary date when your card will be charged in subsequent months.

What time period does each payment cover?

Each payment covers the approximately 30 day period until the next anniversary date. As an example: the payment of January 19 covers the period from January 19 through February 18; the payment on February 19 covers the period from February 19 through March 18; the payment on March 19 covers the period from March 19 through April 18... etc.

Are there exceptions to the "monthly anniversary date"?

Anniversary dates which fall on the 29th, 30th or 31st of the month will be moved to the last day of the current month if needed: This enables a predictable charge date and exactly 12 charges per calendar year.

  • If the anniversary date is the 31st of the month, it will be moved to the 30th in the months of April, June, September and November.
  • If the anniversary date is the 29th, 30th or 31st of the month, it will be moved to the 28th in the month of February. In Leap Years anniversary dates on the 29th do not have to be moved.

What does "automated payment" mean?

As long as your JobFlo subscription is active, JobFlo charges your card on file on the monthly anniversary date. You do not receive an invoice. You do not have to authorize the payment each month.

Will I get a receipt each time a monthly subscription charge is made?

No, you will not receive a receipt. You can see your payments in your JobFlo account by clicking Your Account (upper right), then View Payment History (bottom left).

What happens if my debit card does not have funds to pay the subscription fee on the anniversary date?

Your JobFlo account will display a message similar to below and you will not have access to the Project Dashboard. Your account will continue to receive applicants for Active jobs, however.

We will automatically attempt to charge your card every 3 days until there are sufficient funds to pay the fee. You can instead enter a new card to immediately regain full access to JobFlo.

If I don't make the payment on my monthly anniversary date, but make that payment at a later date, does my anniversary date change to the date I made the late payment?

No, your anniversary date does not change. As an example: we attempt to charge your card on the anniversary date of August 7, but the charge is denied. We retry every 3 days and are finally able to complete the charge on August 28. The payment on August 28 was for the period of August 7 through September 6. Your anniversary date date remains the 7th of the month and your next charge date will be September 7.

How can I avoid a future payment if I plan to not use JobFlo for a period of time?

You can cancel your JobFlo subscription any time, then upgrade to a new JobFlo subscription when you are ready to fully use JobFlo again.

Can I get a refund for an unused portion of my monthly subscription?

Monthly subscription payments are not refundable. We may consider a refund in extraordinary circumstances. Think of your JobFlo subscription like your cable tv subscription. Would you contact your cable company to ask for money back for the days you didn't watch tv?
