Labels are a good way to see the status of applicants "at a glance" in JobFlo. You can use labels to describe where candidates are in the process, like: Qualified, Phone Screen Invitation, Phone Screen Scheduled, In-person Interview Invitation, In-person Interview Scheduled, Background Check Completed and Hired. Often labels are applied immediately after sending a Smart Email. JobFlo gives you the ability to associate any Label with any Smart Email Template so that that Label is automatically applied to the applicant(s) as soon as the Smart Email is sent from JobFlo.


Here's how to associate a Label with a Smart email Template. Note: even if a label is associated with a Smart Email Template, you can associate a different label or even no label just prior to sending out any individual Smart Email.


1. Click Your Account upper right, then on the next screen click Manage Smart Email Templates under Company Account Settings. On the next screen click the Edit link for the Smart Email you want to associate.


2. At the bottom is a Label selector drop-down. Select the Label you want to associate with this Smart Email template. Click the green Save Template button.


3. You can associate a different label or even no label with an individual email while retaining the association with the email template.

  • Select the applicant(s) to email and click the Send Email button.
  • Select Template from the drop-down at top.
  • Change Label (to None if desired) from drop-down at bottom.

This will change the label for this specific email. The original label will still be associated with that email template and will show up next time you select that template.
