JobFlo video interviews allow an applicant to interview without the burden of scheduling that interview. The applicant only needs an internet connected computer or laptop with a webcam.

Here's what an applicant will experience in the interview process.

1. Applicant gets an email from the employer with a link to the video interview.

2. Applicant clicks the link and is taken to a page where the interview process is introduced.

  • If Adobe Flash is enabled in the browser, a short introductory video will display.
  • If Adobe Flash is not set up in that browser, an error message displays "Error loading player: No playable sources found". Adobe Flash Player can be downloaded here.

3. Applicant clicks the green Get Started button and is taken to a couple instructions with a picture of the Adobe Flash Player Settings interface.

4. Applicant clicks the green Next button and is taken to another screen where the actual Adobe Flash Player Settings interface displays. The applicant is reminded to select Allow and Remember in the settings.

  • If the applicant does not select Allow a Webcam Error will display and a Try Again button will appear.
  • If the applicant does select Allow, the webcam view of the applicant will display on the screen.

5. Applicant clicks the green Next button and is taken to a screen describing the Practice Session.

6. Applicant clicks the green Start Practice Session button and is taken to a recorded practice question. After the applicant answers the practice question s/he can Re-record or Start Interview.

7. Once the interview starts the applicant will be able to listen to each question then either Replay (once) or click the green Record Answer button to proceed.

8. After the last question is answered the applicant will see a wrapup comment from the employer (if set up by the employer). Clicking the Next button will take the applicant to the online resource selected by the employer.

Note: the best way for the employer to understand the video interview process is to apply for the job and take the interview yourself!
