Sometimes you might want to copy an existing job into a different location (city/state/zip) or make a copy in the same location with some minor changes. The Clone feature enables you to make this copy with just a few clicks.

1. On the Dashboard under Operations click the Clone link on the line of the job you want to copy.

  • You will be taken to the position Create/Edit screen and will see an exact copy of that job with the word "Copy" added at the end of the Job Title and Position Identifier.
  • You can now change the ZIP Code or make whichever changes to the Job Title, Position Identifier or Position Description you intend.
  • Settings for Internal Only and Confidential can also be adjusted at this time.
  • You should delete the word "Copy" from the Job Title and Position Identifier fields. These are only added as reminders that you are not working in the original.
  • Click the orange Next button in the upper right

2. Make sure fields of the Describe Your Company page are as you want them.

  • Also make sure the correct choice is in place for the Autoresponse Template selector.
  • Click the orange Next button in the upper right

3. On the Preview and Confirm Your Post page you can see how your position will look when posted to job boards.

  • If you need to make changes, click the orange Back button upper left
  • Make sure to Set Your Position's Status to Active
  • Click the orange Next button in the upper right

4. Your job is now saved and Active, so you can go back to your Dashboard if you want to create or clone another job posting or you can click the orange Next button upper right to continue on to Share Job, Post to craigslist and Premium Posting.
