JobFlo Smart Email enables you to create (and save for later use) professional looking emails without knowing HTML.

  • Smart Emails can be sent from a couple handy locations within JobFlo.
  • You can send to a single applicant or several/many at the same time.
  • Copies of all outgoing emails are recorded on the applicant's details page under a History tab


1. You can send a Smart Email from 2 locations:

  • In the Smart Inbox, click the check-box to the left of one or more applicant names, then click the Send Email button at the top of the Unrated section. You can select multiple applicants to email at the same time from the Smart Inbox.
  • In the Smart Inbox, click an applicant's name to be taken to the details page for that applicant. In the Applicant Detail Page click the Email Applicant button above the tabs at the top. You can only email a single applicant from the Applicant Details Page.

2. Choose an existing email template from the Choose a template drop-down. You can instead choose None from the list and simply type out a one-time email. Or can also choose Create New Template / Manage Templates from this same drop-down.

  • If you have come from the Smart Inbox, the system will assume you are sending to multiple recipients and will display their names next to Mail will be sent to.
  • If you selected Email Applicants from the Applicant Details Page, you will see a single email address in the To: field and the applicant name in the Name: field.
  • You can select/deselect Bcc: me. By default, this Bcc email will go to the person logged-in to the account. You can also manually add another email to send a Bcc.
  • You can Send Test Email to Me by clicking that grey button or click the green Send Email / Send to all Recipients button to get your email on it's way.
